We’re back and ready for another season of hockey in Tring. Tomorrow night we hold our very first training session of the 2025/26 season, and it’s a special one. Not only is this our 106th season, but we’ll be stepping out onto our brand new astroturf pitch for the very first time. After years of playing on "the beach", it feels fantastic to start the season on a lovely new pitch.

Training is open to everyone. Whether you’re a long-time member, a returning player, or someone who has never picked up a stick before, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Tring. We currently run two men’s teams and are keen to grow, so now is the perfect time to get involved. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own kit yet, we can lend sticks and help you get started.

And the action doesn’t stop there. We kick off the season proper with two friendlies on Saturday 13th September away at Wootton Wanderers HC, giving us the perfect chance to put training into practice and start building momentum for the months ahead.

So come along, try it out, and be part of a historic season for Tring Hockey Club. With a brand new pitch, over a century of tradition, and plenty of hockey to look forward to, there has never been a better time to join in.
